Food Services, Inc recognizes the link between our business to the health and learning as well as the desires to provide a comprehensive program promoting healthy eating and physical activity for our customers. The site Director or designee shall partner with our customers to assist in supporting and reinforcing health literacy through health and nutrition education as well as physical activity.

Food Services Incorporated recognizes that our customers need adequate, nourishing food in order to maintain good health. To reinforce the company’s nutrition education program, foods (not all inclusive) made available shall:

1. Be carefully selected so as to contribute to student's nutritional well-being and the prevention of disease.

2. Be prepared in ways which will appeal to our customers, retain nutritive quality and foster lifelong healthy eating habits.

3. Be served in appropriate quantities.

4. Use the following tools to assist in analyzing your own nutrition.
